There's always something to do at the farm!

If you are new to farming or an experienced gardener, join our team of volunteers and plant crops, maintain the fields and harvest produce. The hours are flexible and we'll show you our gratitude for all your help!

"The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature." — Alfred Austin

Hoop house

High Tunnel(Hoop House)

The hottest feature of the farm.  The High tunnel formally called the Hoop House is a vital part of Wind Hill.  It provides us with an area to grow and preserve early and late crops.  This 30' by 72' structure gets up to 14 hours of full sun with temperatures getting up to 110 degrees and higher!

Rear Field

The rear field is a fenced in area behind the tunnel house.  Thanks to the town of Glastonbury and EMD contracting,  we have improved the drainage and continue to make improvements.

In the coming weeks we will start planting  the legendary Three Sisters method, a time-honored Native American planting method that grows all three crops together in one thriving, sustainable garden.  Potato towers and heirloom tomatoes are going in.  Keep an eye on our Facebook page to check our progress.

East Hill

East Hill

The newly rebuilt east hill serves as a raised bed garden.  You can help by planting crops, weeding and watering.  Right now we are trying to finish filling the beds so our Ag students can plant and our Farm Fresh Kids can decorate it.

You can also help us by adding decorations and help us get  the full potential of this space.

Herb Garden

Our herb garden serves as a community garden where we plant annual and perennial culinary and medicinal herbs.  You can add herbs or take a snipping or two.
